With less than one week to go until V Festival, we’ve rounded up our top acts to see across the weekend.
It’s that time again as one of the most popular festivals of the year returns to Staffordshire’s Weston Park. And with some of the biggest acts in the world set to take to its stages, you’re going to need to plan ahead to make sure you get the most out of your weekend. From headline sets from Jay Z and P!nk to comedy appearances from Joel Dommett and Brum’s very own Joe Lycett – here are the top acts you need to catch at V Festival 2017!

Jay Z | Main Stage | Headline Act
One of the biggest artists in the world, Jay Z will be making his debut performance as he brings V’s first night to a close. After teasing fans with new music and announcing the release of his latest album 4:44 back in June, we can expect an incredible set from the man who has brought us some of the greatest hip-hop tracks of all time.

Clean Bandit | Main Stage
With three number one singles and a top 10 album in UK official charts, electro-pop trio Clean Bandit have become one of the most successful bands in the country, having teamed up with artists including Zara Larsson and Louisa Johnson for their hit singles. You can catch them on the main stage.

Ellie Goulding | Main Stage
Making her fifth appearance at V Festival, Ellie last took to the Main Stage in 2013. With hits including Love Me Like You Do and Still Falling for You, Ellie has recently returned to the music scene featuring on Kygo’s single First Time. A set not to be missed, the blonde bombshell is sure to win over the crowd once again with her spectacular vocals.

Stormzy | Main Stage
One of 2017’s rising stars, Stormzy is another act that is making his V Festival debut. At just 23, he’s already made quite the name for himself and certainly made his mark at the BRIT Awards back in February when he joined Ed Sheeran on stage for a remixed version of Shape of You which has been viewed more than 16million times!

Joe Lycett | The Glee Comedy Tent | Headline Act
If you fancy finishing off your Saturday night with a bit of comedy, head to The Glee Comedy tent and check out Birmingham’s very own Joe Lycett. Best known for his appearances on shows including the BBC’s Live at the Apollo and Chanel 4’s 8 Out Of 10 Cats Does Countdown, Joe’s headline set is sure to tickle your funny bones.
P!nk | Main Stage | Headline Act
Having sold more than 40m albums and 65m singles worldwide, P!nk remains one of the most successful female solo artists around, despite taking a step back from the limelight over the last few of years. The American pop artist, who’s well known for putting on a show on her tours, is bringing this year’s festival to a close.

George Ezra | Main Stage
Following the release of his single Don’t Matter Now from his latest LP, George Ezra is making his second appearance at V Festival for the first time since 2013. It’s already been a busy festival season for the singer/songwriter who’s already performed at Isle of Wight Festival, Parklife and Glastonbury.

Madness | Main Stage
A band that are as popular now as they were in the 1980’s, Madness are known for bringing the party to V Festival with their blended sound of pop, rock, reggae and Motown. And with a catalogue of classic hits under their belt, the London ska band are sure to get you dancing away during their set.

Busted | Main Stage
After reforming in 2016, pop/rock band Busted are another act making their debut appearance at V. Following the release of their third studio album Night Driver, you can expect a set packed with pop-filled tunes from Charlie Simpson, Matt Wallis and James Bourne.

Seann Walsh | The Glee Comedy Tent
Having appeared on numerous panel shows including Virtually Famous and Play to the Whistle Seann Walsh has established himself as one of the country’s most popular stand-up comedians. It’s been two years since he last took to the stage at V Festival and we can’t wait to welcome Seann back to The Glee Comedy Tent.
