Sir Matthew Bourne’s The Red Shoes | Birmingham Hippodrome | Returns July 19

New Art West Midlands | Birmingham Museum & Art Gallery, MAC Birmingham | February 8 – May 12

Cast your eyes upon the stunning art works created by some of the most exciting artists in the region. You’ve got nothing to lose as the 31 different artists work will be showcased across four venues in the Midlands including Wolverhampton Art Gallery and Worcester City Art Gallery, all of which are free.

Jack Whitehall | Genting Arena and Barclaycard Arena | February 16 & 26

Funnyman Jack Whitehall is back on tour with his award-winning stand-up comedy show which guarantees to leave you in stitches. Don’t miss The Royal Variety Performance host, League of Their Own panellist and Bad Education star at his dynamic best, live on stage. Get your tickets here!

Billy Elliot the Musical | Birmingham Hippodrome | 7 Mar – Sat 29 April

The Hippodrome has gone all our this year to bring some of the biggest productions to its stage. Billy Elliot the Musical heads to the city next month, and following the success this show had in the West End it’s one we certainly can’t wait to see. You can book your tickets here!

Vintage Kilo Sale | The Custard Factory | March 11

Listen up vintage fans, grab yourself a bargain at the Vintage Kilo sale. You can pick and mix from 1000’s of men and women vintage items and simply pay for the weight of the clothes you want. Admissions on the door are no more than £3. So, if you’re looking to give you wardrobe a bit of a refresh with some vintage classics, this is the way to do it. 

Oliver Beer | Ikon Gallery | 15 March — 4 June

Ikon has got an amazing line-up of exhibitions that it’s bringing to the city this year. We really recommend heading to Brindleyplace and checking out this awesome exhibit by Oliver Beer, which includes new work commissioned by Ikon; a re-animation of I Wan’na Be Like you from the Walt Disney classic The Jungle Book. The project included 2,500 local school children and is an absolute must-see for your weekly dose of culture.

Olly Murs | Genting Arena | March 23 – 25
