Willard Wigan: In the Eye of the Needle | Museum of the Jewellery Quarter

Wolverhampton artist Willard Wigan MBE is currently exhibiting his microscopic sculptures at the Museum of the Jewellery Quarter. From Ant Man, to New York’s skyline and the Evolution of Man, this exhibition is one that must be seen to be believed! Willard’s micro-sculptures have seen him recognised in the Guinness Book of World Records and awarded an MBE for services to art in 2007.

The Birmingham Gin Festival | Birmingham Town Hall | Saturday

Gin lovers, this is an event that you don’t want to miss. Head to town hall this Saturday and prepare to have your taste buds well and truly tantalised as you sample more than 120 gins from across the world. That’s not all, with live entertainment, cocktails and the chance to make your own gin distillery and more, it’ll be a day you’ll never forget!

Miss Saigon | Birmingham Hippodrome

If you haven’t heard of this show landing in the city, then where have you been? Sir Cameron Mackintosh’s Miss Saigon follows the heartbreaking story of 17-year-old Kim, who meets and falls in love with American GI Chris during the back end of the Vietnam war. But when the pair are torn apart from the fall of Saigon, Kim goes on a quest to track down the love of her life with disastrous consequences. With high reviews from critics across the city, this is a show not to be missed this summer! The heat is well and truly on at the Hippodrome!

The Cornetto Trilogy with Sunday Dinner & Cornettos | Mockingbird Cinema | Sunday
