From Saturday 1 July – Sunday 2 July, shoppers can enjoy a weekend of all things beauty across a wide selection of department stores and independent retailers in Birmingham.
With over one hundred beauty brands in the city centre, Big Beauty Weekender celebrates the huge beauty offering in Birmingham featuring everything from makeup, skincare, pampering and hair. And, it’s free!
Whether you’re looking to update your skincare regime, experiment with a new lipstick shade or have a chat with the beauty experts, there’s something for everyone.
What you can expect
Head to Harvey Nichols to enjoy a glass of prosecco and live DJ entertainment whilst you shop the latest beauty products from a variety of luxury brands. With an amazing selection of free beauty masterclasses from Stila, Hourglass and Rodial, you’re sure to leave feeling pampered.
On the other side of the city centre, House of Fraser is opening the doors to a selection of beauty rooms and giving visitors exclusive access. Live demonstrations will also be taking place on the main stage within the department store, with talks from the Chanel and Givenchy experts.
Selfridges, Bullring will also play host to an array of exciting demonstrations with Charlotte Tilbury’s Lead Artist, the Giorgio Armani team and a NARS national makeup artist all taking the stage to present their very own industry secrets and top tips on the latest collections.
Enjoy refreshments, one-to-one advice and take away your own foundation sample to achieve perfect, glowing skin.
A range of masterclasses are also available across the weekend from John Lewis, Debenhams, Boots and Birmingham’s newest beauty addition – Smashbox. Beauty lovers will also be treated to exclusive discounts throughout the Smashbox store across the weekend and are invited to indulge in a selection of complimentary demonstrations.
Whether you’re sorting out your skin at ‘Hydration Station’ or perfecting your pout with ‘Lips That Get Likes’, the Smashbox team will answer all your cosmetic queries, tailoring each consultation to your own personal needs.
