Model Chloe Lloyd on her go-to make-up looks, rocking the smokey eye and the products you need to look out for.

Are you experimental with your make-up?
During the week I’m pretty natural with my make-up, especially if I’ve got work because I don’t do my own then, the artists do what they want. As soon as it’s the weekend and I’m going out with my friends I’m definitely experimental with it. I always try new things if it means that it looks good.

What’s your go-to make-up look?
I really like a bronze smokey eye; I’ve got blue eyes so it makes them stand out.

Do you have any tips on how to achieve a good smokey eye?
A smokey eye is a good because if it goes wrong and looks a bit messy you can make it a bit rock n’ roll, give it a bit of a Kate Moss vibe. If you make it messy on purpose it doesn’t matter.

Do you have any favourite products at the moment?
For foundation I love Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk, it’s an incredible product. I’m a huge fan of RapidLash Eyelash Enhancing Serum, I’ve been using that recently and my eyelashes have grown so much, it’s so good. For my  skin, I’ve been using Lancer Skincare a lot lately. I think Kim Kardashian uses it. I can’t get enough of Charlotte Tilbury’s new products either.

Do you have a product that you can’t live without?
Probably my mascara because I feel naked without it.  As long as I’ve got that on I’m happy. I tried eyelash extensions the other month for my holiday because I can’t really have them with work, they were brilliant to have on when I was away.

Do you wear make-up every day?
I do have days where I’m make-up free but most days I have it on. I enjoy putting it on, it’s nice to spend 10 minutes in the morning putting it on; it’s a fun thing to do, I find it quite therapeutic.

What’s your top make-up skill?
I’m pretty good at putting false eyelashes on. I can just do it with my fingers really quickly. I know usually some people find it really fiddly, I used to find it really awkward to do, but now putting them on is just second nature to me.

What part of your make-up routine do you pay extra attention to?
I take the most time focusing on my skin. I find it so hard to make it look as natural as possible whilst getting perfect coverage. It’s a challenge trying to get that perfect glowing, amazing skin, so I really like to take my time achieving that. I like using the Beauty Blender because it just helps to create flawless coverage.

What up-and-coming brands do we need to look out for?
I’ve been working with a brand called Delilah Cosmetics and it’s really nice. It’s a new brand but it’s already quite high end. I’ve also been using this highlighter recently by a brand called Laura Geller; its products are sold on QVC and they’re so good. I got sent it and I didn’t even know anything about the brand and now I can’t stop using it. Recently I did a campaign with a brand called Iconic London and it’s brought out these incredible Pigment Foundation Sticks, I’ve been using those to.

What does your daily skincare routine consist of?
I take my make-up off everyday. I make sure I cleanse and exfoliate, it makes my skin feel so much nicer. I love using a scrubber and Chanel’s products are amazing. I’m a huge fan of the Pixi Glow Tonic Exfoliator too. I finish off with an eye cream if I’ve got one just because everyone says to use them. I apply a moisturiser every evening just to aid my skin. In the morning I just cleanse using the Yves Saint Laurent All-in-One BB Créme.
