Marc Jacobs Beauty

Marc Jacobs is no stranger to experimenting when it comes to fashion and his classic yet bold designs have seen him dominate the catwalks at fashion weeks year after year.

After launching Marc Jacobs Beauty in John Lewis last year, the brand has continued to establish a makeup collection that reflects his love for irresistible shades and textures, encased in stunning packaging, capturing his love for design.

We take a look at the top products from Marc Jacobs Beauty that you need to have in your makeup bag this autumn.

Eye-conic Eyeshadow Palette | £39

Introducing the Eye-conic palettes – six never-before-seen products that are guaranteed to make your eyes the centre of attention.

Inspired by Marc’s love of textiles and layering, these signature palettes offer four fashion finishes: Buttery Matte Velvet, Shimmering Satin, Sparkling Silk and Metallic Lamé. With a mix of glamorous shades that can take your look to the next level, these stunning palettes are an absolute must-have this season.

The Scandalust palette was our personal favourite, with a selection of six autumnal shades to mix and match depending on your chosen look. As worn by Emily Ratajkowski last weekend for the Vogue Paris party, this palette is definitely about to become a seasonal must-have.

The Crease Brush | £27
 The Smudge Brush | £24

For a seamless eye-shadow application, the brand new Marc Jacobs Beauty brushes take the effort out of applying eyeshadow. And for 12-hour staying power, prep the eyes with the new Under(Cover) Perfecting Coconut Eye Primer, Invisible (£20) to lock in your masterpiece all night long.

Re(Marc)able Full Cover Foundation | £37

If you’re looking for flawless coverage with a long-lasting finish, it doesn’t get much better than this. Available in 22 shades, this oil-free formula is heavily pigmented and doesn’t move from the moment you apply it.

IT Cosmetics

Founded by former news reporter and journalist, Jamie Kern Lima, IT Cosmetics is a brand that focuses on innovative, colour correcting solutions for common skincare problems including redness, blemishes, dark circles, and rosacea. As well as being 100% cruelty-free, the US brand boasts a collection of products aimed at enhancing natural beauty, rather than masking it.

After landing in Selfridges, Bullring just a few weeks ago, we couldn’t wait to explore the brand and it definitely didn’t disappoint…

Bye Bye Makeup™ 3-in-1 Makeup Melting Balm, £30, Selfridges

The first thing you’ll notice about this balm is how incredibly smooth it feels across the skin as it almost instantly melts makeup away, leaving you with super soft, clean skin. Banish impurities and hydrate your skin in one with this cleansing formula, suitable for every skin type from sensitive to oily.

Bye Bye Under Eye Concealer, £22.50, Selfridges

Combat dark circles with this miracle-working full coverage concealer. Whether you’re covering up pigmented skin or a lack of sleep is catching up on you, this concealer brightens the eye area to disguise any areas of concern. Less is more with this product, and despite not creasing under the eyes after hours of wear, beware that a little goes a long way so be sure to apply sparingly!

Bye Bye Redness™ Correcting Cream, £25, Selfridges

Before applying makeup, prepare your skin with this rich, colour-correcting cream to reduce redness whilst adding moisture and creating the perfect base. Containing a variety of natural ingredients from soothing aloe to turmeric, it can be used any time of day depending on when you need it. The results from this cream are instantly noticeable, and after using it, you won’t be able to remember a time before it.

Fenty Beauty

Just a few weeks ago, the beauty world was turned upside down by the release of Rihanna’s very own makeup line, Fenty Beauty. As crowds desperately flocked to shops across the world to get their hands on the collection, we were lucky enough to get a preview at Harvey Nichols, Birmingham. Check out our favourite products here.

Rihanna has since announced the Holiday Collection, due to launch today. Keep your eyes peeled!
