I’ll start by saying that as a total beauty addict I love doing my hair and makeup every day, I even used to spend hours practicing in my room and watching all of the video tutorials YouTube had to offer.
It’s safe to say I’m completely obsessed with all makeup from the perfect winged liner to the best velvet lip looks on the market.
Although I love beauty products this is definitely an expensive passion to have and I often find myself spending my last pennies on that extra beauty product that I absolutely must have.
With all of the blogs and articles about makeup all over the internet it’s sometimes really tough to figure out which high-end products are actually worth your money, especially when there are so many amazing dupes on the market at the moment!
It seems easy to get your beauty fix for less, which is great, but there are some stand out products which I think will always beat the rest and I’ve made a list of them here so that I can share my secrets with you.
Chanel – Le Blanc De Chanel, Multi-Use Illuminating Base – £33.00
This primer is hands down the best I’ve ever used. It glides onto the skin, smells amazing and keeps your makeup looking and feeling fresh and perfect all day. A staple for any beauty lover.
Yves Saint Laurent – Couture Palette Eyeshadows, Saharienne – £42.00
Yves Saint Laurent eyeshadows are incredible. They are so shimmery and they blend beautifully on the eyes. They don’t crease and they stay put all day, not to mention the shades are so gorgeous!
Anastasia Beverly Hills – Glow Kit, Moonchild – £30.25
Anastasia Beverly Hills has so many incredible products it was hard to choose! This one is an absolutely magical highlighting kit that provides the best glow for every makeup look, it’s the smoothest and most beautiful highlighter ever, with the most amazing packaging too.
Tom Ford – Lip Colour, Bare Peach – £39.00
Tom Ford lip colour is creamy, buttery and a dream to wear. The shades are so diverse with some shimmery and some velvet. These are so smooth on your lips and can definitely take a makeup look from ordinary to spectacular in an instant.
Giorgio Armani – Luminous Silk Foundation – £37.00
This foundation really does what it says on the tin, it’s luminous on the skin and it has an incredibly silky finish. It’s one of the most popular foundations in the UK and with good reason. Buy it, you’ll love it, I promise.
Moroccan Oil – Original Treatment – £31.85
As a 20-year-old student who’s obsessed with fashion and beauty my hair colour is another important way of expressing myself. But all the damage I cause by dying needs to be cared for properly in order to keep my tresses shiny and healthy. This product is my go-to for soft Disney princess hair that glimmers in the sunshine.
GHD – Gold Classic Styler – £129.00
I’ve had a GHD styler for about 7 years now, it’s still going strong and providing me with the best straight and curly looks day-in-day-out. I would recommend this to anyone who uses straighteners or curlers to provide the perfect look for any occasion.
Vita Liberata – Phenomenal 2-3 Week Tanning Mousse – £37.50
Vita Liberata tan is wonderful. It provides a really smooth application which is fast drying and even every time. It stays on, as promised for roughly 2-3 weeks if you apply it correctly. As well as this, one of the main reasons I love it so much is that it doesn’t smell of fake tan! So you can have that golden glow without that Fake Bake smell.
Giorgio Armani – Armani Code Eau de Parfum 75ml – £74.00
This is another one of my all-time favourites. I’ve been using this perfume for years, its like my signature scent and I love how it manages to be feminine and zesty whilst also being mysterious and musky at the same time. Its a gorgeous smell for anyone to wear.
