Midlands salons are a cut above the rest as six win a place at the L’Oréal Colour Trophy 2016 Grand Final
Last night, Aston Villa FC hosted one of the biggest hairdressing competitions in the UK as 55 of the Midlands’ brightest, fashion focussed hairdressers competed in three categories in the Midlands heat of the L’Oréal Colour Trophy Awards. This year didn’t disappoint and six salon teams and one talented young colourist were victorious winning a place at the L’Oréal Colour Trophy 2016 Grand Final to be held on 13th June. The teams had only 30 minutes to create their fashion inspired winning look to impress the elite group of judges. Out of over 1000 entries, the following hairdressers have been named grand finalists for the MIDLANDS region in the L’Oréal Colour Trophy Award, the L’Oréal Men’s Image Award, and the STAR award.

From over 1000 initial photographic entries, now just 54 salons from across the whole of the UK will compete at the highly acclaimed Grand Final in London on 13th June. The finalists will have just one more opportunity in which to prove both their creative flair and technical ability in their chosen category. The overall winners in each category will pick up a once-in-a-lifetime prize package which includes a European Trip to shoot their winning look, a fashion shoot with a leading glossy magazine, and a comprehensive personalized plan to promote the salon, plus endless PR opportunities throughout their winning year!
