It’s no secret that everyone loves a bit of a bronze glow in the summer months, but fundamentally, tanned skin means damaged skin. Believe it or not, it doesn’t actually matter if the sun’s out or not, because regardless of good weather, UVA and UVB rays will continue to damage the skin, putting you at risk of skin cancer and making you a lot more likely to get fine lines and wrinkles earlier on in life.

In a recent study, the British Association of Dermatologists found that 35% of Brits have been sunburnt in the last year whilst in the UK, and of those, 28% were sunburnt three or more times.

Because of this, we’ve rounded up some of the best products to make protecting your face and body as easy as possible, whether you’re adding a 50+ suncream to your daily skincare regime or switching up your bronzer.
