Up your fashion and beauty game in 2019 – from sustainable trainers to the newest in skincare, these are the brands we’ll be shopping this year.

Veja

Trainer brand Veja saw a 113% increase in searches last year, spiking in performance on Instagram, whilst the popular V10 sneakers also made the list of the top 10 most searched-for shoes. With the trend in sustainable fashion thankfully increasing and Veja supporting environmentally-friendly materials and fair trade suppliers, it’s no wonder these stylish yet eco-friendly shoes are in-demand.

Drunk Elephant

With 2019 seeing a much-anticipated launch into UK through retailers Space NK and Cult Beauty, Drunk Elephant is one of Sephora’s best-selling skincare brands. Colourful packaging, a quirky name, A* ingredients and effective formulations – there’s not much else you could want or need from your skincare. What can we say, we’re also a sucker for a cute Instagram #Shelfie, and these are a great new addition.

Staud

At only three years old, this Los Angeles brand has become known for its contemporary twist on modern bags. Seen as a summer staple all over Instagram, Staud bags have been seen on the arms of many influencers and cool girls since the brand first started. From bucket shapes to a perspex outer lining, Staud nails innovative and quirky pieces that will get noticed for all the right reasons.

Monki

Recently joining Birmingham High Street, Monki is a brand that takes shopping and fashion to a whole new level. With a design mixing Scandi cool with the energy of Asian street style, this is a brand that creates on-trend lifestyle collections for young women.

Astrid & Miyu

Having quickly built a cult status among fashion editors, celebrities and influencers in the last few years, jewellery brand Astrid & Miyu is the ‘It’ brand to be wearing on your ears, fingers, neck and wrists. Best known for its popular ear stacks, Astrid & Miyu’s vision is to offer beautiufl but accessible pieces for all women, whatever the season. With piercing bars in London and a recent pop-up in Birmingham, it aims to help women to develop and express their personal style. Shop the jewellery at Selfridges Birmingham.

Heaven Skincare by Deborah Mitchell
