The Clothes Show, in association with ALCATEL ONETOUCH, will be popping up within the Bullring on Saturday 3rd and Sunday 4th October 2015, offering visitors to the Birmingham shopping destination a sneak preview to the main event in December.

Following on from the excitement and buzz of Birmingham’s newly enhanced shopping scene, which includes the new £600m Grand Central centre project home to the new John Lewis and the redeveloped Mailbox, The Clothes Show will bring the true fashion experience to life in the city centre. The space will be turned into an autumnal city rooftop garden, featuring a catwalk stage hosted by fashion and celebrity stylist Kalee Hewlett. The inspiring catwalk shows will run up to five times a day, showcasing key Autumn Winter 15 trends in high-street fashion including Red Alert, Bohemia, Dark Victorian and Be Bold. Fashion-enthused visitors will then be able to shop the trends directly from the catwalk within the Bullring stores.

The Clothes Show will also provide an Autumn Winter 15 beauty fix, with its backstage hair and make-up partner, Saks, creating the trend-led looks for the catwalk, ready to be recreated at home by the style-savvy audience.

The Clothes Show’s headline sponsor, ALCATEL ONETOUCH, will be giving away exciting products across the two days, whilst Lambrini will have a pop-up bar for shoppers to sample their sparkling fruit wine range.

Visitors can also indulge in an array of experiences including Model Masterclasses where they will be taught how to boost their confidence and improve their posture by learning how to walk like a top model. Hosted by model and dancer Liam Lunniss, each session will give up to 20 girls the chance to learn the basics before heading to the live heats. In a series of training rounds, participants will walk the catwalk to battle it out to be crowned the winner. A bundle of prizes will be on offer along with tickets to The Clothes Show where they can meet model agency Select Model Management.

Nicola Darling, Event Manager at The Clothes Show, commented; ‘We are excited to be able to showcase a preview of what The Clothes Show will bring to Birmingham’s NEC later in the year. The Bullring activity forms part of The Clothes Show’s exciting new plans for 2015 to re-launch, refuel and revamp as the UK’s one-stop destination for fashion hungry crowd. We are delighted to have the support of ALCATEL ONETOUCH again on what promises to be the most exciting show yet.’

Taking place from 4-8 December, The Clothes Show is set to house top brands including Little Mistress, Oasis, House of CB, Sugarhill Boutique, Mink Pink, Playful Promises and Glamorous, as well as welcoming performances from paramount music acts such as Ella Eyre and Charli XCX. TV and radio favourites Rick Edwards, Gemma Cairney, Alice Levine, Jamie Laing and Joey Essex will be presenting alongside credible fashion industry experts Hilary Alexander OBE, Caryn Franklin MBE and Antonia O’Brien.
