My Holiday Style – Vogue Williams

For model, TV presenter and Epsom Downs Investec Ladies Day Style Judge Vogue Williams, summer holidays mean spending time with the family

My favourite holiday destination is Sotogrande in Spain. My mum lives there so my family and I use it as a meeting point. We all stay with her and it’s a fantastic place for us all to get together. I tend to try and get there at least two to three times each summer if I can. It has beautiful beaches, a harbour and it’s renowned for its Polo Club.

There’s so much to do but for me it’s all about spending time with my family. We go for nice dinners, have long days at the beach, lunch at beach bars and shop at boutiques. I go to the gym every day and normally end up writing a couple of blog posts just because Sotogrande is such a beautiful place.

I don’t tend to pack much because luckily for me my mum is really stylish, so I wear a lot of her clothes. Realistically, I could probably get away with taking just hand luggage when I go, but I always end up finding lots of clothes that I want to take with me — I pack a lot of playsuits and bikinis.

I like to keep my holiday look chic and simple. I think playsuits are really great, I’ve already brought two from Spotted on Celeb ready for when I go back to Spain this year. I’d say playsuits are my statement piece for when I go to the beach. I don’t pack many pairs of shorts for the beach because they’re just a bit of a nightmare to put over a bikini when it’s wet.

I spend a lot of time at work so when I’m a home I like to keep it really casual, I love a good pair of jeans. I’m a real fan of the matching tracksuit trend at the moment. The great thing about them is that they aren’t so much a tracksuit, but more of a full outfit. If I’m working or I have to go out, I’ll always wear a dress but when I’m at home I’m casual with no make-up on.

Marbella is just a short drive away so we always go there. We spend a lot of time at Puerto Banús because it’s great for shopping, it has a Louis Vuitton, Burberry, Zara and Dior. As for Sotogrande itself, there are lots of amazing places to eat, you can go anywhere and have a fantastic meal. The Polo Club is probably my favourite place because they serve up the most amazing steak, so we make sure that we go there every time.
