This Autumn is gearing up to be a big one for fashion launches! H&M has announced that their latest designer collaboration will be with Kenzo.
Due for release on November 3rd, the collection will follow in the footsteps of the hugely successful Balmain collaboration and is sure to play on the heavily slogan-ed athletisure so coveted by fashionistas these days. Carol Lim and Humberto Leon, Creative Directors at KENZO say:
With this collaboration with H&M we want to think big, push the boundaries and bring the new energy of KENZO to everyone around the world
Launched in the 70s, Kenzo is a vibrant and playful line with Parisian, Japanese and American influences, and the H&M capsule is expected to feature clashing colours in vibrant hues, tribal vibes and the signature Kenzo tiger logo. Judging from the Fall 2016 show, we’ll be looking out for trippy nods to the US election with red, white and blue accessories, animal prints in perverse neon colours and lady-like pieces rendered in PVC.
The #KENZOxHM line promises to be wild and youthful, and things to nab will be statement pieces with prominent Kenzo emblems… if you’re going to make an effort to buy, you’ll surely want people to know about it.
