Who can resist a crunchy taco shell or soft burrito packed full of spicy flavours? When it comes to Mexican food, Habanero Café by Pigeon Park dishes out some quality tacos to the good people of Birmingham. With four bases to choose from (burrito, taco, nachos or burrito bowl) you can build your dream Mexican dish finished with traditional toppings and salsas.

Original Patty Men

A burger joint that’s guaranteed to make your mouth water, Original Patty Men’s patties are certainly not for the faint-hearted, but you can be sure that’ll be leaving OPM feeling seriously satisfied. And let’s not forget that superstar Drake called up OMP after his gig at Arena Birmingham last year to order a serious amount of burgers for his crew! And if you don’t fancy tucking into a burger, then OPM also host Wing Wednesday!

Flying Cows

There’s nothing more mouth-watering than a juicy patty, and much like Original Patty Men, Flying Cows know how to make one heck of a burger. Trust us when we say that you’ll be spoilt for choice when it comes to making the all-important decision of just exactly which burger you’re going to sink your teeth into. You can catch Flying Cows at Digbeth Dining Club most weeks to get your regular burger fix.

Sometimes, nothing quite beats a British classic, and if you haven’t heard of Pietanic on the Birmingham grapevine, where have you been? This pop-up gourmet pie shop travels across the city in its super-cool converted Citroen H van, serving up its delicious handmade pies at events from Digbeth Dining Club to its residency at The Sunflower Lounge. Complete with creamy mash, peas and gravy and a choice of mouth-watering fillings, how can you say no to this hearty classic?

Bournville Waffle Company

Everyone deserves a treat every now and again and Bourville Waffle Co has the perfect option to put a stop to those cravings. You’ll start with a traditional sweet Belgian waffle base before creating the ultimate dessert by adding a range of traditional and not so traditional toppings ranging from seasonal fruits to Nutella and marshmallows. Go on, treat yourself, you know you want to!
