One to watch: Tattu Birmingham launches new menu

Read this in: 2 minutes

The independently-owned, family-run restaurant, led by brothers Adam and Drew Jones, may have only opened a few months back, but it’s already made a name for itself for all the right reasons.

Having settled into its new home within the popular Colmore district, the modern Chinese restaurant has launched a new à la carte menu reflective of the ‘longer, warmer days with flavours that balance clean, crisp spices and seasoning with refreshingly lighter ingredients’.

Alongside breathtaking decor, exceptional service and obvious attention to detail across every element of both the bar and restaurant, the whole Tattu experience is like no other.

And the new menu has made it all the more exciting, with a variety of tantalising new dishes to tickle your fancy, from delicious smaller plates to share like the Seared Beef and Sunflower Seed Salad with cucumber, spring onion and green nahm jim, a vibrant dish that packs flavour to the Roast Char Siu Pork, a sweet sensation served with burdock summer salad and yuzu kosho

Fish Bao

And if dim sum is your thing, it’s worth checking out the new Rock Shrimp and Scallop Gau with cucumber and wasabi tobiko, or Black Cod Parcels with spinach, candied orange and orange ponzu – both equally as tasty.

For the veggies and vegans, Tattu has also expanded its offering with 17 dishes to choose from in total, meaning you’ll also have an exciting selection of plates to consider.

And it doesn’t end there, as the new White Chocolate and Citrus Cheesecake served with lime, matcha and strawberry means you won’t be finishing your meal on the mains. And if you’re looking for something extra special, we’d recommend the signature Cherry Blossom chocolate dessert (you can thank us later).
