Next month Birmingham will welcome a brand new bar and restaurant like no other to Colmore Row.
The Alchemist, a European style bar and restaurant, will open its doors on Monday 26th of September.
Catering for food and cocktail enthusiasts alike, The Alchemist will offer an array of dining experiences throughout the day, as well as creating 60 new jobs in the city.
Managing Director of The Alchemist, Simon Potts, said:
We are excited to be bringing our dynamic and theatrical offering to this district of the city.
The Alchemist has an extensive cocktail menu which introduces an elaborate array of smells, tastes and sights including hot and cold sensations, changing colours and dry ice, celebrating molecular mixology, alchemy and craftmanship.
A taste of what’s to come at The Alchemist.
There will be more than 30 exotic drinks to chose from that experiment with both classic yet unusual flavours, such as Hawaiian punch, Candy Crush and Chocolate Orange Sazerac. The venue also holds its own masterclass where you will be able to learn the secrets of molecular madness and become a true cocktail master.
We thrive on giving our customers a great experience. Being in the Midlands right now is extremely exciting.
The Alchemist will also be serving an mixture of dishes, including smashed avocado and poached eggs for brunches to coconut prawn skewers to start the evening. The menu ranges from gourmet burgers to fish and chips, to a variety of fajitas, accompanied with a range of tantalising desserts.
The popular venue which is often distinguished by its stylish yet inviting interiors already has five venues across the UK, including two in Manchester, two in Leeds, one in London and is also opening in Liverpool this month.
