Three days, 30 venues and 17,000 cocktails: last month 3,000 cocktail-lovers took to the city for the second Birmingham Cocktail Weekend.
After a launching last year, Birmingham Cocktail Weekend proved to be yet another success with event completely selling out, doubling last year’s figures.
BCW16 saw a number of the city’s cocktail hot-spot venues take part including Malmaison, Gas Street Social, The Lost and Found, Marco Pierre White’s and many more, all serving up a huge variety of delicious cocktails.
This year’s event was bigger and better! Wristband wearers were directed to the Jim Beam hub at Island bar, where they kick-started their weekend with a taster of Jim Beam’s extensive range of Bourbon.
Founder and organiser of Birmingham Cocktail Weekend, Alex Nicholson-Evans, said:

Across the three days cocktail-connoisseurs were treated to free masterclasses, tastings and exclusive events. Birmingham Cocktail Weekend also gave wristband holders an insight in to some some of the top brands behind their favourite cocktails, led by brands including Jim Beam, Bacardi, Grey Goose, Langley’s.
