Calling all foodies: seasonal markets return to Digbeth to showcase Birmingham’s finest street food talent
Seasonal markets is returning to The Bond in Digbeth to host four more events in 2016. The first of which is The Spring Market on 16th April. The event is a one day urban festival with the best of Birmingham’s food, drink and artists. Featuring a courtyard of over 10 street food traders, a vintage double decker bus real ale and cocktail bar, DJ’s from Leftfoot, canal side barge traders moored up in the venue, a mobile vintage boutique bus and an indoor market hall of over 20 artisan food producers, local artists and designers. The event is family friendly with under 12’s entering for free, on offer this spring for children is face painting, bouncy castle, a farm petting zoo with spring lambs to be feed and local blacksmith forging his work at the event.
Seasonal markets are now entering their third year of events at The Bond Company. The canal side venue offers a unique street food courtyard with a huge Victorian canopy covering the area, visitor are free to enjoy the tastes on offer protected from the elements. Lots of seating is available allowing visitors to sit back and relax on a Saturday afternoon in this little oasis in Digbeth. Exhibitors include: The Burnsville Waffle Company, The MeatShack, Low ‘N’ Slow and Buddha Belly.
