The first new restaurant of 2018 has opened in the city centre, serving up delicious Thai food and cocktails that you need to try.
Independent eatery Sabai Sabai opened the doors of its city centre venue in December, and we went along to check it out for ourselves.
The family-run business, which also has restaurants in Harborne, Moseley and Stratford-Upon-Avon, is known for serving up some seriously good Thai food, making it a great place to wine and dine in the city.
Located on Waterloo Street, the new two-story venue that seats up to 60 people is just a stone’s throw away from St Philips Cathedral and a short stroll from New Street.
The extensive menu has so much to choose from, so you’re sure to find something to leave you feeling satisfied. The plates are perfect for sharing, and if you want our advice, we recommend you order a portion of the Tempura Goong (golden fried tempura king prawns), crispy duck salad and crispy duck rolls.
Sabai Sabai also offers a fantastic lunch menu. Available Monday – Friday 12pm – 2.30pm from £12.95, diners can enjoy the sizeable Thai Mezzie Platters or the à la carte menu which runs throughout the day.
