If you find yourself getting caught up in your own mind, these books will help to keep your mind in check and remind you to breathe, even when you forget.

According to the world health organisation, more than 300 million people suffer from depression worldwide. Mind‘s statistics state that 1 in 6 people in England have reported to having common mental health problems such as anxiety or depression, and it’s no surprise that companies such as Google have invested in their employees by providing things such as sleeping pods in their working environment, with more and more international businesses also following suit

Now more than ever, mindfulness is key to maintaining our mental health. It’s been scientifically proven that mindfulness improves our brain activity, offering more clarity to our thoughts and perceptions, whilst also showing evidence of improving physical health such as lowering blood pressure. Self-help books might not be able to solve all the questions and provide all the answers, but they can allow you to change brain patterns and take small steps to improve your overall wellbeing.

With this in mind, allow our suggestions to inspire and motivate you to be more present wherever you are.
