As if Digbeth Dining Club wasn’t already one of our favourite places to visit in the city, the popular weekly street food event is joining forces with The Wilderness, who will be serving up some signature cocktails with a serious twist. Inspired by foraging, the talented team from The Wilderness will be taking residency in Café Colette. So head down to Lower Trinity Street and grab yourself some mouth-watering food and adventurous cocktails.

Jon Richardson: Old Man | Birmingham Hippodrome | Saturday

Funnyman Jon Richardson is heading to Birmingham Hippodrome this Saturday and bringing his latest tour Old Man along for the ride. Known for his appearances on shows including 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown and Live at the Apollo, Jon’s achieved a lot since his last show, including becoming a husband and a father, so be prepared for some rather hilarious tales that are sure to tickle you. This Saturday join Loki Wine for an afternoon of gin tasting as they showcase six new additions to the store’s ever-growing collection of craft gins. Hosted by Carl Hawkins, founder of The Jekyll & Hyde, you’ll learn the latest gin trends for the year as well as tasting six super-premium gins from six different countries, then constructing five of your very own boutique G&Ts as well as a gin-inspired cocktail. If you’re someone that loves live music, then get yourself down to The Sunflower Lounge this week and catch some of the biggest up and coming bands in the country.
