Is there anything better than cocktails? Yes! Adding Frizzenti to those cocktails
Last September Birmingham was treated to the eagerly anticipated, Grand Central. The arrival of the up-market shopping and dining destination encompassed in a futuristic dome, not only attracted a lot of friendly visitors, but was also accompanied by a range of fabulous restaurants and retailers to help make our city just that little bit more brilliant.
Grand Central most definitely has it perks and one of those is when you find yourself sat in a simplistic bar, overlooking New Street concourse, the sun shining through the roof with a glass of fizz in your hand – that’s when you know you’ve found yourself a gem – welcome to Frizzenti.
Still delivering the deliciousness and sweetness that both, Champagne and Prosecco do, Frizzenti has cleverly caught onto the fizz-loving trend and delivered a concept of sparkling wine on tap, ensuring their drinks are full of freshness and bubbles.
Although predominantly a ‘fizz’ bar, Frizzenti also serves a range of delicious red and white wines, cocktails, mocktails, coffee and some lovely little nibbles, to give you a real taste of Italy.
Birmingham is extremely big on cocktails right now, and Frizzenti delivers every single time. The team pay detailed attention to quality, ensuring that all ingredients used align perfectly with their brand.
A particular favourite has to be the ‘Superstar Fizz’ – a blend of fresh passionfruit puree, Absolut vanilla vodka, fresh lime juice topped with Frizzenti. Served up with fresh passionfruit and for just £7.75 – it would be silly not to!
Not for the faint hearted, the Aperol Spritz is one to be had. A measure of Aperol topped with sparkling wine and the smallest dash of soda topped off with a wedge of orange, all served over ice makes for a perfect summer treat.
Birmingham has had the privilege of being the first home to a Frizzenti bar in the UK, and it’s clear to see that the welcoming team behind the bar are all so passionate about what they do.
If you’re popping into Grand Central, we’d definitely recommend making a stop at Frizzenti – the mojitos have a real kick made from Caribbean white rum, and the Kir Royals are a must-try, or if you’re feeling extra thirsty why not just take the bottle for £25!
