The Best in Live Stand-up Comedy – Friday 9 June

The Glee Club prepares to host four of the best comedians throughout the UK and international field. With a carefully hand-picked line-up, there’s a comedian for everyone this Friday. The event promises a well-rounded show, full of talent and sure to make you laugh. The sets kick-off at 7 pm and are scheduled to finish at 11 pm. Guests must be 18+ and entry prices range from £10 – £15.95.

Rainbow Roof Garden Launch Party – Saturday 10 June

Colours presents the brand new, weekly rooftop party at Rainbow venues in Digbeth. The event will be showcasing a variety of top-rated DJ’s including Darius Syrossian, Tom Shorterz and Deep City Soul with support from Billy Bayliss and Jack Gardner.

The new and improved roof garden location displays some one-of-a-kind skyline views of the city and fits perfectly with summer. Complete with three varied rooms from 10 pm – 6 am, this is the ultimate sunrise to sunset party. Avoid the queues and get down early, as this is sure to be a busy one.

Fight Night Presents: Mall Grab – Friday 9th June

Set in Plum and Poison (previously the Rainbow Cellar and Pub), Fight Night presents Mall Grab, a 23 year old Australian producer who has taken the UK by storm since moving to London a few years ago. Fight Night itself believes in the link between music and art, with new artists being commissioned for each night.

The Addams Family Musical – Tuesday 6 June – Saturday 10 June

Head down to Birmingham Hippodrome this weekend for a grand performance of the classic Addams Family. The comedic approach of the show targets a variety of audiences and promises to entertain all age groups. With a live orchestra and the same writers as the multi-award-winning Jersey Boys musical, we can’t wait to watch it!

Highlights: The show boasts a star-studded cast including Samantha Womack, Les Dennis and Carrie Hope Fletcher.

King Heath Dining Club – Sunday 11 June


The third Kings Heath Dining Club of the year has arrived! Street food galore is to be paired with a selection of work by Birmingham’s best independent artists and creators from Digbeth Arts Market, all in a vibrant, thriving atmosphere. Some of the UK’s finest street food traders will be serving everything from woodfired pizzas to thai green curry. With free entry all day and live DJ entertainment from Leftfoot, there’s no reason to miss it.


Highlights: Tuck into the marinated crispy chicken from Buddha Belly, Oreo cheesecake waffles at The Bourneville Waffle Company and pakora battered halloumi at The English Indian.
