The Snowman: £4 Screenings | Mockingbird Cinema | Now – Thursday November 9

Starring Michael Fassbender, this horror/thriller flick will keep you on the edge of your seat (or hiding behind your coat). After a girl is murdered on the first snowfall of winter, Detective Harry Hole (Fassbender) feels like its anything but a routine homicide. And when his investigation leads him to the terrifying “The Snowman Killer”, Hole teams up with a genius recruit to try and catch the vicious killer before he strikes again.

The Killers | Genting Arena | Monday 6 – Tuesday November 7

Following the release of their fifth LP Wonderful, Wonderful, Las Vegas rockers The Killers are returning to Birmingham for two nights (Monday and Tuesday). With a catalogue of incredible hits to their name including Mr Brightside, Somebody Told Me and The Man, the band are currently in the midst of their world tour which comes to an end in their hometown on December 11. Beautiful – The Carole King Musical | Birmingham Hippodrome | Tuesday – Saturday November 11

Inject some warmth into your week as the stunning Beautiful – The Carole King Musical comes to Birmingham Hippodrome. John Bishop | Arena Birmingham | Friday 10 – Sunday November 12

It’s been three years since John Bishop came to Birmingham with his Rollercoaster tour. This weekend the former A League of their Own panellist is making a welcome return to Arena Birmingham with his brand new tour, Winging It. Winner of Best Male Comedy Breakthrough Artist at the 2010 British Comedy Awards, John has become one of the country’s biggest comedians, starring in shows including Skins and Little Crackers.
