Brum Zine Fest 2018

Celebrate some of Birmingham’s thriving creatives at Brum Zine Fest 2018, which will be taking place at Impact Hub, Digbeth this weekend. There’ll be talks, workshops and discussions from the experts taking place throughout the day, alongside stallholders so you can browse the work at your own pace. And, if you’re not ready to go home at the end of the day, there’s an afterparty from 5:30 pm onwards with music, food and a DIY cardboard battle – fun for all the family! Harborne Carnival 

The annual carnival is back and will be taking over the whole of Harborne High Street on Sunday 1 July. Alongside regular restaurants and pubs being open as usual, expect plenty of funfair rides, street food and entertainment as visitors from all over Birmingham flock to one of the biggest street parties in the city. Birmingham Rum Festival

It’s time to celebrate three years of Birmingham Rum Festival, and what better way to spend your Sunday than sipping cocktails in the sun surrounded by friends? Choose from a whole host of different rum varieties, from spiced to white, as you learn about the popular spirit from the experts. Kings Heath Dining Club at Highbury Hall

Bournville Village Carnival

Home of Cadbury World (and former home of George Cadbury himself), Bournville Village will be hosting the annual Village Festival this weekend from 1:30pm all the way through to a firework display at 11pm.
