A new corporate boat charter service has launched providing firms an alternative to conventional hospitality and events.
Le Creux is led by Birmingham based businessman Tim Andrews who has over 25 years of boating experience. His latest venture sees him providing firms a new pathway for their corporate hospitality events. The managing director of Tysely-based printing company Hollywood Monster, and CEO of Birmingham City Ladies Football club spoke about how he understands the needs and benefits of such a service:
“Through Hollywood Monster, I have seen just how important it is to build business connections, and Le Creux is a great way for business to do just that. We take on the responsibility for planning your day; starting in Lymington, where our luxury yacht, Rum Runner, is moored. The team manages everything from accommodation and entertainment, through to health and safety; we want everyone on board to have a fantastic experience whilst travelling with us.”
You can hire Rum Runner, their flagship motor yacht, and sail The Solent for as little as £2,600 per day for 12 guests with Le Creux taking on the responsibility of creating the packages and itineraries that will excite clients who come on board. The yacht has played host to many events for the likes of Birmingham City Football Clib, Prologis and Hollywood Monster.
Andrews also believes in giving back to the community and has donated to a host of charities including Cure Leukaemia, Edward’s Trust and Birmingham’s Children’s Hospital.
I think it’s important that local businesses help support local causes.
“Through these corporate days, we have donated over £50,000 to charity – which is a fantastic achievement. It is such a privilege to be able to support these fantastic causes, all of which are helping to improve the lives of others and help them through difficult times. I am really passionate about giving back to the community and I think it’s important that local businesses help support local causes.”
As one of the region’s leading corporate fundraiser, Tim has been behind major charity events and is also a part of the team that launched the 7inSeven cycle initiative in 2013. Tim is also Chairman and Trustee at LoveBrum, a charity that supports hidden gem projects across the city to make it an even better place to live.
