DanceXchange has launched an exciting new programme that’s going support the city’s ever-growing dance community.
The new programme will be tailored to different levels of experience, from emerging artists right through to the more established, enabling dancers to refine their work, gain exposure and learn the business of dance, through both invitation only and open-access programmes.
The dx Associates programme is tailored to ambitious artists, who have strong ideas for high-quality productions. If chosen, they will be supported for up to two years, with a bespoke development package including a studio and production space, mentoring, guidance and a commission.
The dx Choreography Award programme is developed for artists, providing them with a platform to develop their practice. Accessed through an open call process, successful applicants also receive bespoke support in the form of a studio and production space, advice and mentoring, as well as a cash bursary and the opportunity to present their work to industry contacts as part of a dx sharing event.
