Marco Pierre White will be visiting his Steakhouse Bar and Grill on Wednesday 28th October for an exclusive book signing, but the really exciting element to his visit, for 5 lucky Birmingham catering students, is the opportunity to watch and learn as Marco dons his chef whites and shows them how the Godfather of modern cooking does it
Marco is bringing one of his prize possessions with him, a lovely retro, bright yellow La Cornue stove which belonged to his own cooking hero Keith Floyd to do the demo. It’s a once in a life time chance for these budding chefs to see Marco perform his culinary magic.
On the day, Marco will also be meeting customers and signing copies of his famous book, White Heat 25, which has some amazing recipes and iconic images of Marco by the legendary Bob Carlos Clarke.
The restaurant’s general manager Julian Hook said
There’s a real buzz of excitement around the day with Marco cooking. He has confirmed what he will be cooking-up for the students which will be his lobster macaroni dish – a real special of his. It’s great to have Marco back so soon after his last visit in September, we’re constantly being asked when he will be back so we’re looking forward to having him available for the book signing and student cooking demonstration
Customers are being invited to the book signing which includes a complimentary 3 course meal at lunch and dinner.
