The Rainbow Venues has announced an exciting new event which you need to go along to this November!
Chord, the nine-hour dance and techno extravaganza, will take place across the The Warehouse, The Roof Terrace and The Blackbox.
Chord is a brand new concept which will be bringing together six headline acts, brands and promoters from all over Europe who really know how to party, for a one of a kind event on November 19th. The six world class headliners will be Magda, Mathew Jonson, Daniel Bell, Nicolas Lutz, Jane Fitz and Matthew Burton who will be taking it to the max and have your spine tingling.
Luke Black will be warming up the crowd in the Warehouse, along with Magda as she makes her return to the region after not playing at the Rainbow Venues for nine years. Her fascinating sound will be sure to keep the dance floor busy with her minimal techno and dark wave disco sound. Up next will be Mathew Jonson, who will be keeping it rolling with his melodic, elegant techno sounds. Last but not least will be Jane Fitz who has a rather devoted following in Birmingham after her many appearances in the city. Ranging from infectious techno to deep house, she is one of the most popular DJ’s of the moment.
The roof terrace will play host to Matthew Burton alongside BLM with his first show since moving back to the UK from Berlin. Chord will also be the debut performance of his new live set using only hardware machines, with a stomping dance floor vibe which is sure to be a strong hit with attendees. Following on from Matthew will be BLM with a dark, rhythmic sound, which is already proving to be hugely popular within Birmingham.
The Blackbox, hosted for the evening by Evolve, will see the likes of Daniel Bell, Nicholas Lutz and Tom Craven, one of the men who have put this whole event together. Following an insane performance at the last Evolve event at The Blackbox, the team were keen to have Nicholas Lutz make a return, who has since played at everywhere from London’s iconic Fabric to Club der Visionaere in Berlin. Finally, Daniel Bell will take to the stage, Detroit’s minimal master and the man behind many deep techno records such as ‘Losing Control’. He has been defined as a pioneer of his genre, fusing subtle and classy minimalism with a simplistic groove that never fails to impress.
This incredible new event by The Rainbow Venues is one not to be missed!
