This gin-tasting floristry workshop is the perfect Mother’s Day gift

Looking for the perfect present to bring a smile to your mum’s face this Mother’s Day?

Harvey Nichols Birmingham has teamed up with Bloom & Wild and The Old Curiosity Distillery to offer customers an exclusive hand-tied bouquet and gin tasting workshop – the perfect gift!

The Blooms & Botanicals event will be staged at Harvey Nichols on Saturday April 6, with sessions at 11.30am-1pm and 2pm-3.30pm, meaning you can surprise your mum with this special gift experience the week before.

Offering more than a simple flower-arranging workshop, the 90-minute masterclass will be hosted by Bloom & Wild’s expert florists who will teach guests how to craft their very own hand-tied bouquet which is then colour-matched and paired alongside The Old Curiosity’s Secret Garden range of pastel botanical gins.

Throughout the sessions, you and your mum will be served three of The Old Curiosity Distillery’s gins – Apothecary Rose, Chamomile & Cornflower and Lavender & Echinacea – which have all been infused at the nation’s first and only pure working gin botanical garden. Each gin boasts beautiful colour-changing properties, changing hues when tonic is added and will be colour-matched to aesthetically replicate the bouquets.

The Blooms & Botanicals exclusive workshops cost £60 per person, which includes hand-tied bouquet making and gin tasting, as well as light bites, refreshments and tea and coffee, and guests will be able take home their beautiful floral creations. You will also get the chance to purchase any of The Old Curiosity Secret Garden Range at an exclusive discount price of £30 (RRP £42).
