Just a short train or car journey away from the city centre, Stirchley is rapidly on its way to becoming not just one of the most up and coming places to live, but one of the most popular spots to head to if you want to escape the hustle and bustle of the heart of the city.
From stunning independent shops to stylish bars and mouth-watering meals, here are our top picks of spots to head to if you ever find yourself in this neck of the woods.

The Stirchley Beer Mile
If there’s one thing we know Stirchley for, it’s The Stirchley Beer Mile. This blossoming village is home to some seriously good taprooms, serving not just an impressive range of beers, but wines as well. No trip to Stirchley is complete without taking on at least some of the beer mile, with Attic Brew Co., Cork & Cage, Couch and The Wildcat Tap – to name a few – all ready and waiting to welcome you.
Food for Thought
Want to change up your dining spot for date night or searching for the perfect brunch spot? Stirchley has a fantastic range of places to satisfy your appetite. You’ll find delicious curries a-plenty at Akrams and Patiala, while trendy spots on Pershore Road like Caneat, Alicia’s Micro Bakehouse and Eat Vietnam offer delicious food in abundance. Those lusting for a sweet treat simply won’t want to miss out on popping into Loaf – thank us later.
There’s nothing better than shopping independent. The city centre is filled with wonderful treasure troves to explore, and Stirchley is no different. We’re obsessed with plants here at the Style HQ, which is why we often find ourselves lost scrolling through the Instagram feed of Isherwood & Co, which is possibly one of the dreamiest florists we’ve ever set foot it. Other notable spots include Quietude for mindful products from skincare to homewares.
Stirchley Community Market
Speaking of shops, did you know that Stirchley has its very own community market? Running on the first Tuesday of every month from 4pm- 8pm, the Stirchley Community Market is run entirely by the village’s residents and gives food and craft businesses a chance to showcase everything wonderful that they have to offer. One of the many great things about the Community Market is that it takes place after work, so you can always pop in on your way home. There are plenty of chances to get involved yourself, too. Health & Wellbeing
Beyond its shops and gorgeous food and drink spots, Stirchley’s community branches out to offer a wealth of places to keep your health in check. Those looking to balance out the stress of day to day and find inner calm life won’t want to pass on a session at Yoga Borne; while the former Stirchley Baths have now been transformed into an incredible community centre, offering everything from workshops to markets, dance classes and book clubs!
Gorgeous Green Spaces
Stepping off the thriving Pershore Road for a moment, Stirchley also has its own little park. Somewhat a hidden gem in the suburb, it’s a nice little space to spend some time in the sun. But, if you fancy taking a trip a few minutes down the road, you’ll also find Cotteridge Park, which has 22 acres of gorgeous greenery to explore!
