This exciting FREE event is coming to the city!

Birmingham’s leading department store, Selfridges is set to host Live + Loud – its annual free event from 27th till 30th September, which this year celebrates the city’s diverse arts movement, with four action-packed days of music happenings in-store.

What can you expect?

  • More than 20 amazing events to enjoy, including dance and theatre presentations.
  • Live singers and DJs including rapper Stardom and Capital Xtra Dj Jess Monroe.
  • A live panel discussing the ever-evolving art scene with local artists
  • A pop-up radio studio throughout the festival bringing you artist appearances, from YouTube sensations SB.TV, whose channel has over 10 million subscribers.

Live + Loud Beauty Event | 29th September

What to expect: This is an exclusive experience across the whole of the Beauty Hall, complete with complimentary drinks, a DJ set by Charlotte De Carle, makeovers and most importantly, exclusive expert beauty advice.

Price? Tickets are £10, which are redeemable during the evening on beauty hall products.

Rave-A-Roo | 30th September

What to expect: One for the kids, this is the ultimate family rave extravaganza from the Ministry of Sound. Expect a live DJ and a colourful confetti finale.

Price? Tickets are £10 per person, which is redeemable against any purchase in the Kids and Toys department on the day.

Swap Shop | 29th September

What to expect: Birmingham School of Art is bringing their Tate Liverpool workshop concept to Selfridges Birmingham. This experimental project presents a platform where no money changes hands but rather objects, skills and ideas.

Come along to explore the concept, which will culminate on Live + Loud’s final day with the artists’ ‘swapping’ their creations with visitors for what they believe its value is
