Michelin-starred chef, Tom’s Aikens is set to open his latest flagship restaurant in the Mailbox at the end of the month.
Tom’s Kitchen will open its doors in The Urban Room at Mailbox on December 30th, providing customers with a bar, deli and dining experience with home comforts.
Committed to serving the best seasonal and ethically sourced ingredients, Tom’s Kitchen offers comfort food classics in a relaxed and informal brasserie setting.
The upcoming launch will be no exception, as the menu combines both signature dishes celebrated throughout the group, along with some brand new dishes exclusive to Birmingham.
Renowned chef Tom Aikens has four restaurants and three delis spread across London, making his Birmingham restaurant the first UK flagship to venture outside of the capital.
Open seven days a week, Tom’s Kitchen will offer diners delicious seasonal dishes and British classics including Fish & Chips with crushed peas, Tom’s Kitchen Burger, Sticky Toffee Pudding to share, and so much more.
The restaurant will also serve weekend brunch, with healthy dishes such as Superfood Granola with honey and Greek yoghurt, alongside indulgent choices including Tom’s Full English and Brioche French Toast with caramelised apples and cinnamon cream.
The Mailbox is already well known for its wide calibre of bars and restaurants, and Tom’s Kitchen is another string for the luxury shopping destination to add to its culinary bow.
Tom’s Kitchen will also incorporate a lively yet relaxed bar, welcoming both diners from the restaurant as well as guests who fancy popping in for an after-work beer, pre-dinner cocktail or even somewhere to catch up with friends over a bottle of wine.
The bar menu will offer a wonderful selection of craft beers alongside classic cocktails, Champagne and fine wines from around the world, which have been carefully selected by Nicholas Clerc, wine consultant for Tom’s Kitchen.
For those looking for a quick bite to eat, Tom’s Kitchen also will aslo be located in The Urban Room, offering an affordable and express option for breakfast, lunch and afternoon treats, serving sandwiches, soups, hotpots, salads and homemade treats. The deli will be open seven days a week and will also sell a selection of alcoholic beverages, providing the perfect setting to relax after a day’s shopping.
