Continuing its huge UK tour, the award-winning musical The Bodyguard is opening at The Alexandra on Tuesday for a two-week run.

Starring Alexandra Burke, this smash-hit production follows the story of Secret Service agent turned bodyguard, Frank Farmer, who is hired to protect rising superstar, Rachel Marron from a stalker.

Bombay Bicycle Club Live & Signing | HMV Vault | Wednesday

Following the release of their latest album, Everything Else Has Gone Wrong, Bombay Bicycle Club are heading to the HMV Vault on Wednesday for a Live & Signing session.

The group will be signing copies ahead of their UK tour, which comes to Birmingham’s O2 Academy on Friday, January 31.

Digbeth Dining Club 2020 Relaunch | Thursday – Sunday

Digbeth Dining Club is back and ready for 12 months of incredible food, drink and everything in between.

From Thursday through to Sunday, DDC is hosting its official relaunch for the year, which will welcome some of its favourite traders including Urban Cheesecake, Low N Slow, Buddah Belly and many more.

Entry costs £1, so get down and enjoy some of the best street food in the city.

Speaking of Digbeth, Roxy Ballroom is opening its latest venture in the area on Friday.

Bringing retro games, shuffleboards, beer pong and more to Birmingham, Roxy is launching in the city following the huge success of its sister venues in Manchester, Leeds, Nottingham and Liverpool.

If you’re looking for a great night out in the city with a host of activities from mini golf to bowling, this could be your new go-to place.

Little Women Screenings | Mockingbird Cinema | Friday – January 30

With a host of award nominations to its name, the latest adaption of Little Women will be screening at Mockingbird Cinema from Friday.
