Birmingham Fashion Week is back, bigger and bolder than ever. From 25–28 September, BFW25 takes over four vibrant city locations for four days of cutting-edge fashion, championing sustainability, local talent, and accessible pathways into the creative industries.

Now in its third year, the week promises a bold program that reflects Birmingham’s creativity, culture, and commitment to inclusivity.

The week kicks off with a city-centre art exhibition and launch party, bringing together creatives, collaborators, and the local community to celebrate Birmingham’s thriving cultural scene. Day two goes hands-on with an upcycling workshop in partnership with Oxfam Moseley, where participants transform second-hand garments into fresh new looks, finishing with a mini catwalk and photoshoot.

Day three shifts to industry insights and networking, featuring the return of The F Word, hosted by Belinda Kaur, founder of BK Networks and BK Spaces. The panel tackles real conversations about money, career growth, and breaking into the creative industries, led by professionals who’ve faced the barriers themselves.

Sandwell College joins BFW25 as a key sponsor, offering students hands-on experience across seven creative roles – from backstage styling and set design to content creation and production – putting real-world learning at the heart of the week.

The grand finale runway show, hosted at Millennium Point on 28 September, promises a spectacular showcase of local talent and sustainable fashion.

“We’re delighted to host the BFW25 grand finale at Millennium Point,” says Rebecca Delmore, Commercial Director. “This week celebrates innovation, inclusivity, and the incredible talent across Birmingham.”

Nat Sakinah, founder of the Birmingham Fashion Council and BFW, adds:

“Birmingham has a rich creative legacy across music, art, culture, and craft, yet its fashion scene deserves the spotlight. At BFW25, we celebrate local, independent, and sustainable designers while supporting emerging talent from underrepresented communities with hands-on industry experience.”
