If you’re in the mood to treat yourself, The Club Hotel & Spa is the place to be. Our stay here set the tone for a truly indulgent escape. Located right in the heart of St. Helier, this boutique hotel blends comfort with sophistication. We were fortunate enough to stay in a spacious suite, complete with a cosy sitting room, TVs in both the living area and bedroom (because why not?), and a bathroom that felt more like a spa—think expansive bath and a generously sized dual shower. The serene ambience was just what we needed after a day of exploring the island.

A Culinary Journey at Bohemia: Jersey’s Only Michelin-Starred Restaurant
Now, let’s talk about food—because, honestly, what’s a holiday without some serious decadent dining? The highlight of our stay was, without a doubt, the Tasting Menu at Bohemia, Jersey’s only Michelin-starred restaurant. Led by the incredibly talented Callum Graham, Bohemia is where modern European fare meets the freshest, highest-quality ingredients that Jersey and its surrounding islands have to offer. Every dish was a testament to Callum’s passion for culinary innovation and his knack for turning simple ingredients into something extraordinary.
Standout dishes included:
Homage to the “Humble Potato” with Exmoor Cornish Salted Caviar – Jersey might be famous for its potatoes, but this dish took them to a whole new level. Paired with luxurious Exmoor Cornish salted caviar, it was the kind of dish that makes you close your eyes and savour every bite.
Barbecued Welsh Saddle of Lamb – Rich, tender, and full of flavour, this dish was beautifully accompanied by braised lamb-stuffed morel, British green asparagus, and wild garlic.
Dessert: “Ivoire Valrhona Chocolate Bar” – Opulance on a plate. Blondie, pistachio, and forced rhubarb came together in a dessert that was as visually stunning as it was delicious.
The Cheese Selection – If you’re a cheese lover, this was a selection that dreams are made of—perfectly paired with a specially recommended port that brought out the best in each bite.
Each course was more than just food; it was an experience—a journey of flavours that made dining at Bohemia an unforgettable part of our Jersey adventure.

Adventure on the Water: Seafaris Boat Excursion
But Jersey isn’t just about indulgence—it’s also about adventure. One of the most exhilarating experiences we had was the Seafaris boat excursion. Picture this: you’re on a super-fast RIB, the wind whipping through your hair as you zoom across the water towards the Écréhous, a small group of islands and rocks just off the Jersey coast. The ride was pure adrenaline, but the real magic happened when we arrived. Seals basking on the rocks, an abundance of local wildlife—it was like stepping into a nature documentary. Truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience.

Relaxation and Rejuvenation
Of course, after all that excitement, we needed some downtime, and The Club Hotel & Spa delivered. The luxurious spa facilities were our go-to for relaxation—whether we were unwinding in the thermal suite or taking a refreshing dip in the pool. It was the perfect way to recharge after a day of adventures, leaving us feeling completely rejuvenated.

Lunch at The Club Bar
For a more laid-back dining experience, we headed to The Club Bar for lunch. Here you can just kick back and enjoy the relaxed atmosphere, and savour some seriously good food. We couldn’t resist indulging in a dozen Jersey oysters, served with red wine vinegar & shallots, Ponzu, and lemon. And then there was the local crab meat with garlic and parsley tagliatelle—simply divine. Add in some expertly crafted cocktails, and you’ve got the perfect spot to unwind and soak up the island vibes.
