It’s the moment every Insta influencer awaits with baited breath … the Colour of the Year 2022 is here. For the first time in its history, Pantone has created an entirely new shade called Veri Peri (or Pantone 17-3938 for those in the know).
The combination of violet with red and blue undertones is said to represent the transformation of the physical and digital world. According to Pantone, the new hue has emerged following two years of lockdowns as our devices have taken a new place in our lives. Veri Peri has been described by Leatrice Eiseman, Executive Director of the Pantone Colour Institute, as conveying a “spritely, joyous attitude and dynamic presence that encourages courageous creativity and imaginative expressions”.
So let’s look at how we can introduce it into our homes.
