Get ready for a festive treat at Birmingham Hippodrome as everyone’s favourite ballet, Sir Peter Wright’s ‘The Nutcracker’, makes its return and we’re giving away two tickets to this enchanting performance!
Running from November 17 to December 9, ‘The Nutcracker’ features a cast of 60 dancers accompanied by the Royal Ballet Sinfonia and music by legendary composer Tchaikovsky. It has become the quintessential holiday tradition for families everywhere.
Set on Christmas Eve, the story revolves around Clara, a young girl who receives a Nutcracker doll as a gift from the magician Drosselmeyer. The Nutcracker magically transforms into a Prince, leading Clara on a wondrous journey.
In 2022, after more than 30 years, the production received a much-anticipated makeover with new sets and costumes designed by John Macfarlane. This year, Birmingham Royal Ballet is prepared to once again captivate audiences in a mesmerising winter wonderland complete with dancing snowflakes, enchanting Christmas trees, and, of course, the Sugar Plum Fairy. Don’t miss out!
