Birmingham’s newest and chicest Chinese restaurant has certainly been wowing city diners since it opened its doors earlier this month. Here’s why we’re just wild about Lulu Wild.

–THE DÉCOR–

Fast becoming Birmingham’s most Instagrammable hot-spot (yes, we’ve been checking out your feed), Lulu Wild’s interior is just one great social media back drop after another. Neon lighting? Check. Decadent cocktails? Check. A large armchair created out of fake bunnies? Check. No really, they have one. Downstairs is perfect for brunching, while the dark and dramatic décor upstairs makes for a super stylish night out. Now all you need to do is select those all-important Insta filters.

–THE FOOD–

Cleverly blending Eastern cuisine with Western cocktail culture, the food at Lulu Wild is every bit as beautiful as you’d expect. Head Chef Derrick Chen, who has worked at renowned London restaurants Hakkasan and Yauatcha, has created a menu that is bursting with delicious signature dishes. Choose from Pomegranate Sweet and Sour Pork, Nyonya Lamb with Lemongrass, Black Truffle Roast Duck and Stir-fry Spicy Tofu. Now if that doesn’t make your mouth water!

–THE COCKTAILS–

Sit back and soak up the elegant atmosphere as you work your way through Lulu Wild’s oh-so glamorous cocktail menu. There’s traditional mixes – Martinis, Cosmopolitans and Daiquiris – as well as tempting tipples with a Chinese twist, including the must-try Ginger Mojito, the Shanghai Secret or the Fortune Cookie, made from vanilla vodka, cookie and cream.

–BOTTOMLESS BRUNCH–

Taking Birmingham’s favourite way to brunch and adding an Oriental spin … genius! The Wild Bottomless Brunch is served weekends and includes two-courses, bottomless drinks and a DJ for 90-minute sessions. You can go with fabulous pink Prosecco, mocktails, cocktails (we love the sound of the Lychee Martini) or Champagne, and the menu choices are endless.
