The Baller Colada at Be at One

 With two venues in the city, Be at One is one of our favourite places in the city to enjoy a cocktail and a weekend boogie. With a huge menu offering an array of cocktails, which are expertly crafted by Be at One’s skilled bartenders, you can enjoy two of the same drink for the price of one every day at the Piccadilly and Brindleyplace venues. Times vary per venue, so make sure to check out the times before you go so you don’t miss out.

Dirty Martini

 If martinis are your poison, then you can’t go wrong with a trip to Dirty Martini. Situated at the top of Bennetts Hill, this popular bar has a fantastic choice of martinis and other cocktails that you can enjoy within a stylish atmosphere. While Dirty Martini’s happy hour doesn’t offer two cocktails for the price of one, you can still enjoy one of the sweet-tasting tipples for half price. Harvey Nichols


Bringing an Italian twist to cocktail drinking in Birmingham, Harvey Nichols offers an Aperitivo Hour. Available in its stylish bar five days a week (Monday: 4pm – 7pm and Tuesday – Friday: 4pm – 8pm) you can enjoy two cocktails from the special menu to enjoy alongside with a traditional Italian antipasti for £15. Island Bar

 Bringing some Mediterranean and Caribbean fire to the city, Island Bar is a Tiki-themed bar that’s well known for its quirky and colourful cocktails. Located just up the road from The Alexandra, you can enjoy two cocktails for £9 on Tuesday – Saturday from 5-8pm and all night on Thursday! If a taste of Hawaii is what you’re after to kick that post-work blues, then you’ll find choices of the Rum Runner, the Rhubarb Ricky and the Banana Colada.

Malmaison

 As well as being one of the most luxurious places to stay in the city, Malmaison’s Chez Mal Bar is also a great place for a mean cocktail. With a delectable range of expertly crafted cocktails, the happy hour runs Monday – Thursday from 4pm – 7.30pm. From mojitos to cosmos, you’re sure to find a drink to suit you on the menu. The Lost & Found

   A place for those seeking something a little adventurous, The Lost & Found runs a cocktail club where you can enjoy a Found cocktail for just £5 between 5pm – 8pm, Monday – Friday, excluding bank holidays. Revolucion de Cuba

   Spread across two floors, Revolucion de Cuba is just a stone’s throw away from both New Street and Snow Hill, so it’s perfect if you want to fit in a quick drink before you hop on the train. A rum-lovers paradise, not only can you enjoy 2-4-1 cocktails between 3pm – 7pm on Monday – Thursday, you can also dance the night away at the Samba Social events.
