Birmingham’s Jewellery Quarter will come alive this weekend as the 11th annual Jewellery Quarter Festival returns this Saturday 11 July, bringing a full day of live music, artisan markets, heritage experiences, creative workshops and family-friendly activities to one of the city’s most vibrant neighbourhoods.

Jewellery Quarter Festival returns this Saturday, 11 July 2026, with a day of music, markets and creativity.
Running from 10am to 7pm, the festival will transform Golden Square, St Paul’s Square and venues across the Jewellery Quarter into a celebration of the people, places and independent businesses that make the area so unique.
This year’s theme, “Where Individuality Shines,” celebrates the creativity and character of the Quarter, from its historic streets and iconic buildings to the makers, artists, performers and independent businesses that continue to shape its identity.
Organised by the Jewellery Quarter Business Improvement District (JQBID), the festival will begin with the Artisan Market on Golden Square, where visitors can browse unique creations from local designers, makers and artists. Throughout the day, the square will host live performances, including appearances from the Voice of the Town Choir, Capoeira demonstrations and music from students at Progress Music Academy.
Beyond the main festival hub, visitors can discover the Jewellery Quarter in new ways through heritage tours, creative workshops and behind-the-scenes experiences. There will also be the return of the popular Jewellery Quarter-themed miniature golf course, featuring imaginative holes inspired by local landmarks.
For those looking to get hands-on, there will be plenty of opportunities to try something new, from chocolate making and dumpling masterclasses to coffee workshops, tufting sessions and a range of arts and crafts activities.
Local venues, studios and independent businesses will open their doors, showcasing the creativity and craftsmanship that define the Quarter.
As the afternoon moves into evening, the celebrations continue with the JQ Music Trail, bringing live performances to pubs, bars and venues across the area. With plenty of cafés, restaurants and bars nearby, visitors can make a day of it and enjoy everything the Jewellery Quarter has to offer.
Luke Crane, Chief Executive Officer of JQBID, said:
“JQ Festival is a celebration of everything that makes the Jewellery Quarter unique, its creativity, independence, heritage, and sense of community. Every year, the Festival brings together residents, businesses, artists, performers, and visitors for a fantastic day that truly captures the spirit of the area.”
He added: “We’re excited to welcome everyone back on Saturday 11th July for another unforgettable day of music, creativity, discovery, and celebration.”
